MHS musicians earn gold at ISSMA state solo & ensemble contest

News Blog Category - News Several Marion High School students competed at the state level solo and ensemble competition put on by the Indiana State School Music Association recently, bringing home several gold medals!

To earn a spot at the state competition, these students first had to earn a gold rating in the most difficult division of the regional ISSMA competition

The vocal/piano competition was held Feb. 18 at Perry Meridian High School in Indianapolis. The instrumental competition was held Feb. 25 at North Central High School in Indianapolis.
